Canada Day in the park
Live music, food vendors, kids' activities, and fireworks at dusk.
The day opens with the pancake breakfast at 11 a.m., followed by live music on the main stage all afternoon. Food vendors line the riverside path with everything from fresh lemonade to the Legion barbecue, and the children's zone runs games and face painting until early evening. Fireworks begin at dusk (around 10 p.m.) — bring a blanket and settle in on the main field. Parking is at the arena with a free shuttle running every 15 minutes, and the grounds are fully accessible.
